What is Webb Protocol?
Webb Protocol is a zero-knowledge infrastructure protocol that helps developers unlock user privacy in the Web3 ecosystem. The Webb Protocol uses advanced security technologies, such as zero-knowledge proofs, distributed key generation, and secure relay systems, to maintain privacy and security of assets and information of the user.
Webb’s main goal is to improve privacy, with a particular focus on cross-chain operations. The majority of our efforts are directed towards developing our own bridge protocol.

Bridge Hubble
Webb Hubble Bridge is to provide a user-friendly and easy-to-use interface for users to move cross-chain assets privately. The provided Hubble Bridge makes it easy for users to deposit into protected pools, transfer protected assets, and withdraw assets from pools, while protecting user privacy.
Webb Stats dApp
Webb Stats dApp provides a simple interface to view the latest data from the Webb network, specifically it provides about the distributed key generation (DKG) protocol that runs in Webb-based chains such as the Tangle network. The DApp provides visibility into the current status of the DKG protocol, active keys, current authorities, signed proposals, etc.
The Tangle Network uses a set of technologies that support private and secure governance as well as easy connection of private and cross-chain applications, in a way that improves the privacy of all connecting applications.
Anchor System
Anchor System is a bridge system between a set of identical Smart Contract protocols. The Anchor system connects merkle trees on different blockchains, ensuring liveness and safety. The relay system acts as an oracle, data relay, and protocol governance participant, relaying information to connected Anchor Points and enhancing the overall security of the system.
The Anchor system connects merkle trees across different blockchains using a graph-like framework, allowing anchors to maintain the latest state of their neighboring anchors. This associativity allows users to prove the existence of data in any anchor from any anchor, satisfying the liveness and safety properties.
Distributed Key Generation Protocol (DKG)
DKG is a cryptographic multiparty protocol in which multiple parties contribute to the generation of public and private keys. This key pair can then be used for various use cases such as signing and encryption.
In the Webb ecosystem, our DKG is primarily used to generate threshold signatures. It includes two protocols that each network participant runs independently:
1. Create a key threshold
Threshold key generation protocol, lIt takes a secret parameter as input and outputs the private signing key (sk) and public key (pk). The returned private signing key (sk) is just a portion of the private key, where the values of all the returned private signing key shares form the threshold (t,n) that shares the secret of the signing key private.
2. Schema signature threshold
Distributed signing protocol takes the private signing key (sk) of each network participant and the signed message (m) as input. The output is a valid signature. Public input messages are updates (proposals) that are being signed using a threshold signature scheme.
The DKG protocol governs the Anchor system by acting as a security engine. Users place their trust in DKG to sign the data it wants to sign, ensuring the request update is valid. The protocol ensures the security and operation of the Anchor system, maintaining its updateability in a partially synchronous environment while ensuring all updates are valid.
