Daniel Zou, founder of Pahdo Labs, was inspired by the early days of online role-playing games. These virtual worlds instilled in him a sense of autonomy, camaraderie, and purpose, ultimately leading him to embark on a journey to create a world where players could create lasting experiences. From there Pahdo Labs was founded.
Pahdo Labs was founded in 2021 in Daniel Zou’s small room in Irvine, California. Then Daniel Zou and some friends developed and brought the headquarters to New York.

Pahdo Labs is a startup Game Studio with its current headquarters in New York. Pahdo Labs has a vision to revolutionize the Anime-style Action Role-Playing Game (RPG) genre. Pahdo Labs aims to empower players to build their own virtual worlds with the help of AI technologies and processes.

Halcyon Zero
Halcyon Zero is the first Game project that Pahdo Labs developed. Halcyon Zero is an action role-playing game, inspired by Anime. The world is centered around bustling towns and cities that serve as social centers.
From the towns, players can explore the chaotic wilderness together and challenge Anime-inspired bosses in search of the secrets behind the chaos. The core gameplay involves teamwork and fast-paced, fluid, and satisfying combat.
The game’s core gameplay emphasizes teamwork and provides flexible, fast-paced combat. The initial stage will have 4 playable character classes as follows: Spellblade, Enchanter, witch and Spitfire. After releasing the Game, there will be dozens more character classes inspired by Anime for players to choose from.
Halcyon Zero’s standout feature is its powerful level building tools, allowing players to become game designers right in the game. Pahdo Labs focuses on prioritizing player creativity, seamlessly integrating user-created maps and game modes into the overall story and player experience.
