What is MetalCore?
MetalCore is a AAA (triple-A) first-person shooting game (3D FPS) with both Free to Play and Play to Earn mechanisms built on the Immutable X platform. In the game there are more than 150 Mechs, tanks, infantry and aircraft to craft and collect. The game is currently in testing and is expected to be officially launched in 2024.
MetalCore is published by 369 Studio Game which has many years of experience in the industry with hit titles such as Fortnite, The Walking Dead, Star Trek, Gears of War 3, MechWarrior 2, Nether and Outpost Zero. They are currently focusing on building games on PC and Console platforms. Of course MetalCore is not an exception, it will be available on the Epic Games Store and is compatible with Windows OS.
Because high transaction costs on the Ethereum network are a drag on NFT volume and liquidity in general. Therefore, the project team chose Immutable X to solve this problem. Game Play MetalCore
The gaming experience and features have not been given much because the game has not been officially launched, but according to the announcement from the project and from the demo video the gameplay will revolve around PvP, PvE, RTS, TBS, Battle Royale and any other mode suitable for the MetalCore universe.
PvP mode
When starting the Game, players need to choose 1 of 3 factions: Metal Punks, Gear Breakers and Holy Corporation. These are the factions in the game’s plot that fight with each other simply like the War of the Three Kingdoms. The player’s mission is to fight and destroy enemies, protect and conquer territories.
The winning side in the Battle Zone can use many different methods as long as the following conditions are met:
- Control the most important tactical points for an extended period of time.
- Destroy enemy bases, possibly Backdoor (like LoL game).
- Defeat all enemy units before time runs out.
- Forces enemies to lose all respawn points.
Players participate with a limited number of respawns. Once consumed, they will be kicked out and replaced by another player in the queue. this is a Attractive mechanics help keep the battle progressing at the same pace. In this, people can enter and exit the lobby seamlessly.
PvE mode
Players will need to destroy enemy ships and capture watchtowers or destroy enemy headquarters to win. From there complete the main missions. Unlocks new missions and new maps.
Regime Battle Royale
This is the survival mode in the game. The player’s mission is to become the last survivor in the battle.
Real Time Strategy (RTS) mode
Players enter the enemy base and fight for a certain amount of time.
Turn Based Strategy (TBS) mode
In this mode the player and their opponent will have each turn to compete. During each turn, the player can control the robot to move, attack or defend. The condition for victory is to completely destroy the enemy.

Infantry NFTs are MetalCore’s core product and have 8 different layers for players to choose from. Specifically:
- Light Infantry: Offensive weapons and special weapons are of limited use.
- Heavy Infantry: Equivalent to a mini mech – works like a light tank with legs. Equipped with the strongest armor and advanced weapons.
- Engineer: CHas the ability to repair, using nano-spanners to repair vehicles and structures. Can deploy drones or small gun emplacements.
- Medic: Able to heal and revive infantry. They can also use their Nano-spanners as an offensive weapon to deal serious damage.
- Reconnaissance: Can provide laser targeting capabilities for artillery. In addition, it has high mobility to perform excellent operations on rugged mountainside terrain.
- Sniper: SUse long-range anti-personnel weapons to destroy heavy infantry or light vehicles. Can provide laser targeting capabilities for artillery.
- Pilot: Control armored vehicles, air fighters, have small arms and play similarly to light infantry.
