What is Flux Finance? Flux Finance is a decentralized lending platform built and developed on the Ethereum ecosystem. Although there is not much difference from the popular Lending & Borrowing platforms in the crypto market, FLux Finance is part of the ecosystem of Ondo Finance – a project in the Structure Finance segment.
So what is Flux Finance and what’s so special? Everyone, let’s find out in this article!
What is Flux Finance?
Flux Finance is a decentralized lending protocol built by the Ondo Finance team. Flux Finance possesses a number of characteristics of lending platforms including:
- Lenders can earn interest on their stablecoins by depositing their stablecoins into the Flux Finance protocol.
- Borrowers can borrow stablecoins against collateral deposited into Flux Finance
- Flux Finance operates under the P2Pool model similar to AAVE, Compound,…
- Flux Finance is managed by Ondo DAO
Similar to Compound, Flux Finance also builds an fToken model, which means that whenever a user deposits money into the protocol for lending or collateral, they will also receive an fToken representing that asset.
Profits from the protocol will not be distributed to users instead the fToken exchange rate fluctuates and users can stake more assets over time as interest is earned. At the time of writing, Ondo Finance is focusing on stablecoins including USDC, DAI and OUSG.
