Chromie Squiggle is a collection of 10,000 NFTs in the Generative Art category and deployed on the Ethereum Blockchain. The collection was launched on November 27, 2020 by Snowfro, CEO and founder of Art Blocks, with a mint price of 0.035 ETH.
What is Chromie Squiggle NFT
The images in each NFT have a simple, recognizable artistic style that some consider a Personal Signature. These works of art are automatically generated when users interact with the Squiggle code and will then display unique images in each person’s browser. Each NFT can also change in color and orientation, providing vivid visual experiences for users.

Each NFT is made up of 9 different characteristics including:
- Color Direction has 2 different types including: Reverse and Forward.
- Color Spread has 47 different types including: 40, 16, 10,….
- Height has 2 different types including: 3 and 4.
- Spectrum has 4 different types including: Normal, HyperRainbow, Full Spectrum and Perfect Spectrum.
- Steps Between has 3 different types including: 200, 50 and 1000.

- End Color is numbered from 22 to 240.
- Segments are numbered from 12 to 19.
- Start Colors are numbered from 7 to 182.
In terms of rarity, there are special versions of Standard Squiggles called Perfect and Full Spectrum. Additionally, there are a limited number of “Hyper” Squiggles that are very notable and are selling for a significantly higher price than the rest of the NFTs in the collection.

Development roadmap
In March 2021, Chromie Squiggle was founded SquiggleDAO where each individual will contribute their NFT to the DAO for development. In November 2021, the DAO also introduced the SQUIG Token allowing members to participate in DAO governance with each token representing a single vote. To become a SquiggleDAO member, individuals must hold Chromie Squiggle NFT or 1,000 SQUIG Tokens.
