Overview of Chikn Game
What is Chikn?
Chikn is an ecosystem for NFTs that can be interacted with, upgraded, and used in games. The project’s development team aspires to make Chikn largest, most active ecosystem and most creative above Avalanche. Some outstanding features of Chikn include:
- Simple and active gameplay.
- Pioneering infrastructure that enables upgradeable NFTs.
- Smart Contracts for staking are not locked.
- Poultry-themed LARPing with the largest community on Blockchain.
Chikn was started in November 2021 with 10,000 unique Chikn NFTs. Up to now (time of writing), the project has released 4 new NFT collections including Roostr, FarmLand and Item & Blueprint.
Gameplay by Chikn
The Chikn game ecosystem includes a number of simple, leisurely and active games including:
- Roosting: Raise Chikn and Roostr to receive profits from them. The larger Chikn and Roostr, the higher the profit.
- Farming: Stake Native Token or LP Token to get rewards to level up Chikn & Roostr and expand FarmLand.
- Foraging: Let Chikn and Roostr work to develop and expand their FarmLand.
Chikn’s economic model
Currently, there are 4 main tokens used in Chikn including EGG, FEED, FERT and WORM. Firstly, EGG is the central token in the Chikn ecosystem, with many in-game utilities. EGG is created by Chikn NFT during the staking process (temporarily called Chikn NFT generates EGG). EGG will have several key roles such as:
- Develop Roostr NFT and FERT generation.
- Provide liquidity.
- Add value to FarmLand NFTs.
- Used in WormFarm.
Next is FEED which is the Token generated by the EGG staking process. Users can feed Chikn FEED to increase their weight. The heavier Chikn is, the more EGG they will produce every day if all all have a basic weight of 1 KG, of which they produce 1 EGG per day and if Chikn is fed more FEED and gains weight it can produce an additional 0.25 EGG per day. But in the future earning FEED will not be through staking EGG but through providing liquidity to EGG.
FarmLand is the second NFT in the Chikn ecosystem and was launched in February 2022. Chikn holders will receive a 1 to 1 Airdrop FarmLand NFT. In addition, new players are required to provide liquidity to EGG – AVAX on Trader Joe and then burn the received LP Tokens to get FarmLand NFT. FarmLand NFT started as a land plot that was then gradually expanded through EGG burning.
That’s not enough, profits only really come when users start burning EGG to mine FarmLand NFT (underground). Every time users want to mine a cell, they must burn EGG along with WORM rewards or NFT items.
Roostr is the development team’s NFT collection launched in April 2022, all Chikn holders are on Roostr’s whitelist. To increase Roostr’s weight, users need to feed it EGG. Roostr needs to eat at least 1 EGG within 24 hours to create FERT.
