What is ALTS by Adidas?
Overview of the ALTS by Adidas collection
ALTS by Adidas is a collection of 19,500 NFTs released on Ethereum, the collection is the final part of Adidas’ “Into the Metaverse” journey. In this journey Adidas wants to bring users closer to web3 through identity and PFP.
ALTS by Adidas is minted through burning phase 1 and phase 2 NFTs in the “adidas Originals Into the Metaverse” collection. Each ALTS NFT will be revealed into a PFP with properties formed based on the process of collecting traits in phase 3. This is the most special point that ALTS wants to aim for: Each ALTS is a story, a journey led by it is the owner who creates it.
Below I will briefly summarize the 3 phases of the Into the Metaverse journey:
- Phase 1: Announcing a special collaboration between Adidas Originals and big names in the NFT field such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, gmoney and Punks Comic through NFT Drops.
- Phase 2: Phase 1 NFT owners will receive phase 2 NFT and this NFT will receive an airdrop of Adidas’ first digital fashion collection, Adidas Virtual Gear.
- Phase 3: Users will burn the NFTs of phase 1 and phase 2 to receive ALTS by Adidas, this NFT will be revealed as PFP in the future. During the period before August 2023, users can use coins to Vending Machine to collect traits.
