Autoglyphs NFT Overview
What is Autoglyphs NFT?
Autoglyphs NFT is the first NFT collection made and hosted on the Ethereum chain. It is generated by a synthetic algorithm and appears as ERC 721 version.
The project was founded in 2019, at which time anyone could easily receive 1 Autoglyphs NFT by sending 0.2 ETH (equivalent to $35 at the time) to the charity organization 350.org. The charity’s purpose is to fight climate change and promote the use of renewable energy sources.
Project characteristics
The collection only has a total of 512 Glyph NFTs and is owned by 152 collectors. According to the developers, the algorithm that created the collection has been permanently shut down and no more similar NFTs can be created.
Due to the fact that it was first created and stored on Ethereum, the value of an NFT Glyph is extremely high, with the lowest current floor price being 177 ETH.
Many Glyph NFTs have also been sold on the secondary market for millions of US dollars, typically: Autoglyphs #17 sold for $1.44M; another sold for $1.1M.
Development Roadmap
The project has now launched its entire collection of 512 NFTs.
