What is Muesliswap?
Overview of Muesliswap
Muesliswap is the leading decentralized exchange on Cardano that has a similar orderbook mechanism to Minswap but it takes full advantage of the Cardano eUTxO model at its best resulting in low transaction costs, low slippage, and fast order execution. Muesliswap’s order book model is used by traditional stock exchanges on the blockchain.
Muesliswap is built on Milkomeda – an extension sidechain for Muesliswap. The Milkomeda C1 protocol helps equip Cardano to be EVM compatible. The project uses the Haskell language to implement smart contracts and ensure that transactions are executed efficiently.
The Muesliswap difference
- Democratized trading: Does not rely on trusted individuals with special privileges. To avoid arbitrage traders and adjust prices to their liking.
- Non-custodial model: Funds are held directly on-chain, in the trader’s private wallet or smart contract. Therefore no intermediary exists.
- Order transparency: All transactions are public on the blockchain. Everyone has equal access to market data for transparency in the trading process
The components that make up Muesliswap
- Trader: Traders who make swaps on the platform. Completed transactions will be locked in a smart contract in the form of eUTxO.
- Matchmaker: These are people who receive a small fee when trading orders are completed.
Mechanism of action
- Step 1: Users can swap/trade between token pairs on the platform instead of having to go through intermediary exchanges.
- Step 2: After swapping, you can use your tokens to participate in activities such as farming, pool, and staking.
- Step 3: It is also possible to participate in early access to MuesliPad.
