Cool Cats is a collection of 9,999 NFTs about blue cat Hand-drawn developed on the Ethereum ecosystem. Cool Cats was launched in July 2021 and similar to the prominent NFT collections at that time, Cool Cats also belongs to the field of PFP NFT (Profile Picture NFT) projects.
The cats in the Cool Cats collection all originate from a cartoon cat named Blue Cat drawn by an artist more than 10 years ago and then posted on the free photo sharing platform Instagram. Everyone can visit thecatoonist.
Cool Cats only really received attention from the community when a series of famous names such as Reese Witherspoon, Steve Aoki, Alexis Ohanian and especially the extremely famous former boxer Mike Tyson all simultaneously changed their Cool Cats avatars on the 8th day after this NFT was born.
