VV Checks also known as “Checks – VV Edition” is a collection of 16,031 NFTs built on Ethereum. VV Checks was developed by Jack Butcher with an idea based on the Verification Logo provided by Twitter for users for a fee of $8/month. A rather special point is that at the time of project launch on January 3, 2023, users also have to pay $8 to mint NFT and it will end within 24 hours from the time of launch.
What are VV Checks?
Each image on the NFT is initially made up of 80 ticks whose colors closely resemble Twitter’s verification logo. However, why is it 80 ticks? There is a special point behind this:
- Number 80 is the perfect selling number and the NFT burning mechanism is also based on this.
- Users can burn 2 NFTs with an image of 80 check marks to create an NFT with an image of 40 check marks, burn 2 NFTs with an image of 40 check marks to create an NFT with an image of 20 check marks,…
- It will eventually become an NFT with an image of a check mark and the user must do it 64 times.
