The Difference Between Youtube & Lenstube

If with the Youtube platform, users will normally use Gmail with Account/Password to log in to the platform.
As for Lenstube, users will use NFTs issued by Lens Protocol stored on the wallet to log in to Lenstube on the Polygon network.

The way to upload videos to Youtube or Lenstube is somewhat similar.
Video storage
For the Youtube social network, videos will be stored on Google’s centralized storage platform distributed in many places around the world.

One of the prerequisites for Lenstube to be successful is to attract content creators and users from the Youtube platform with its advantages. For me, the advantages that Lenstube holds are not too big and too different from Youtube
Besides, the weaknesses and disadvantages of Lenstube are all quite fatal, especially the video storage fee in my opinion is high, besides the UI/UX is not really optimal so Lenstube will still There are loads of work to be done and areas that need to be improved as soon as possible.
One of the strengths of Lenstube or decentralized social networks is that the revenue shared with content creators is more equitable, but this is something I have not seen from Lenstube.

Summary
Although it is a new trend in the crypto market, Lenstube needs to improve many things to be able to compete directly with Youtube. The biggest problem I encountered when experiencing Lenstube was video storage fees and having to sign many times on my wallet with interactions on the platform.
And I think Lenstube will have to make a lot of efforts to grow strongly in the near future.
