When the market entered the downtrend phase during the past time, investment opportunities to make profits were almost non-existent, but retroactive has brought a new opportunity for users to stay in the market to replace the market. change position. In this article Weakhand will give everyone some of the most effective ways to hunt retroactives for lazy people.

Review of Recently Retroactive Projects
Before getting into the main content, we will summarize the projects that the Weakhand community has received retroactive with a minimum value of $300 to find common points from which to make selection or analysis decisions. allocate time effectively.
Aptos
Aptos is a Layer 1 Blockchain built in a new programming language called MOVE by a team originating from DIEM Blockchain of giant Facebook.
On October 19, 2022, Aptos announced that it will conduct mainnet along with airdrop of 150 APT tokens to those who have participated in the testnet experience and mint NFT from the project. With 150 APT and the initial floor list price fluctuating around $10, each user will receive at least $1,500 completely free from the project.
Across
Across is a Bridge project with a unique singlepool mechanism built entirely on the Ethereum network that has been invested by a number of VCs such as Blockchain Capital, Place Holder, Hack VC,…
Each wallet participating in the Retroactive Across hunt will receive 3000 ACX equivalent to $300 if sold at the listed price of $0.1
Arbitrum
Arbitrum is the largest Layer 2 at the moment using Optimistic Rollup technology built on the Ethereum network.
Arbitrum Foundation has divided users into many reward milestones ranging from 600-10,000 ARB tokens depending on each person’s level of activity on the network. For those who have followed Weakhand from the beginning and fully followed the instructions, they will also receive at least 4250 ARB equivalent to a value of ~$5000.
How to Hunt Retroactive for Lazy People
Select project
Currently, the number of new projects with the potential to be retroactive on the market is very large, so it is very important for those who do not have time to choose really good projects to do.
So what are the criteria to choose a good project:
- The project has a strong construction team in many aspects such as technology, marketing,…
- The project must have a good backer and raise a large amount of money from several tens to several hundred million dollars.
- The project does not have a token yet and does not promise too much about airdrops or retroactives in the future or taking advantage of this to attract users.
- Each project on the selected list will be a necessary piece of the puzzle to facilitate asset rotation and dual retroactive hunting to optimize profits. (I mention this criterion in more detail later in the article)
Create the most optimal process
To optimize time spent as well as capital efficiency, it is necessary to create a process to experience the projects selected from above.
I will take a real-life example of my own experience. In the second half of 2022, I have chosen the projects to focus on to hunt for retroactive: Arbitrum, LayerZero (StarGate), Optimism, SlingShot Finance and Li.Fi Bridge. This is the process that I have set out to be able to hunt retroactive for all 5 above projects at the same time:
- First, I will withdraw ETH from centralized exchanges to the Ethereum network, then use Arbitrum Bridge to transfer ETH to Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova. This method will cost more transaction fees, but it has helped me receive a few more points in Arbitrum’s list of conditions.
- Once I have assets on Arbitrum, I will proceed to skin in the game on the network by trading some tokens both to earn profit and to hunt for retroactive on Dex aggregator SlingShot.
- After skin in the game on Arbitrum, I will transfer ETH from Arbitrum to Optimism, but the problem here is that there are 2 bridges I mentioned above, so how to use them at the same time? All 2? The answer is very simple: I will use Jumper.exchange and choose StarGate as the transfer bridge, even though I will have to pay a higher fee and take longer to transfer.
- On Optimism, I also skin in the game quite similar to Arbitrum and use SlingShot as the DEX for main trading.
After performing the above process many times, I received the following results:
- First, I cannot help but mention the airdrop of 4250 ARB tokens.
- With a large trading volume on Slingshot, I was among those with a large trading volume on the platform and received many NFTs worth hundreds of dollars, however, I chose to hold all the NFTs with Hoping to receive a larger airdrop after the project launches the token.
- I also received a small amount of OP in the 2nd airdrop.
Below is also an example of how I earned a passive income from RealYield on GMX and also made a profit thanks to GLP’s price increase.

Prioritize quality over quantity
According to the data on the number of wallets allocated to the Arbitrum airdrop from Nansen, we can easily see that there are a total of about 600K wallets receiving the airdrop, however up to 450K wallets received less than 2000 ARB tokens and the majority People who use multiple wallets will be in this range.
Therefore, focusing on retroactive hunting with one or two wallets will help us spend less time but can reap the results that other people have to do with 10-20 wallets.
Using too many wallets also makes it easy for the project to detect that you are a sybil and then directly remove these wallets from the list. Not only that, other projects that have retroactives for their users can also use the sybil list from the previous project to eliminate eligibility.
No promise
You should not choose projects that promise a lot to the community about airdrops and use that as an excuse to meaninglessly attract users. Most such projects will be attacked very strongly by sybil, so the reward that users receive is not even equal to the money spent to experience the project.
Take for example a project working on domain names, Evmos Domain, which promised users an airdrop after launching the governance token. Many people thought that this would be a big airdrop like the previous Ethereum Name Service (ENS) so they did not hesitate to spend money to own a .evmos domain name from about $5 for domain names over 4 characters to ~ $600 for 3-letter names.
As a result, most of those who bought domain names early received an airdrop that was not worth the money spent and left the project.
Outstanding Projects With Retroactive Potential
I will summarize some outstanding projects that have retroactive potential in the future so that everyone can save time in choosing a project.
zkSync Era
zkSync Era is a Layer 2 using the first zkEVM technology built on the Ethereum Mainnet network with much higher speeds than Layer 2s using Optimistic Rollup technology.
The project has confirmed that it will launch tokens when it really needs to decentralize the network and up to 2/3 of the total supply will be reserved for the community with a very high possibility of an airdrop instead of a public sale.

LayerZero
LayerZero is a multi-chain interoperability protocol that allows dApps to be built on multiple blockchains efficiently. LayerZero connects dApps across chains using on-chain Ultra Light Nodes, helping achieve the security of a Light Node at the low cost of an intermediary chain.

StarkNet
StarkNet is a Layer 2 using zk-Rollup technology with a programming language developed by its parent company, StarkWare. This technology is promised to bring many innovations as well as challenges to Layer 2 on the Internet. Ethereum in general.

Venom Blockchain
Venom is a Blockchain that uses a new technology developed by the Venom Foundation itself, Threaded Virtual Machine (TVM) with a structure made up of many different layers including Masterchain, Workchains and Basechain.
Currently the project is in the testnet phase so everyone can experience it completely for free, check it out now. Instructions for Joining the Venom Blockchain Testnet.
Summary
Above is a summary of retroactive hunting methods for lazy people. Everyone can refer to it and come up with a reasonable strategy to implement and receive double results in the future.
