Bequest Finance is the platform multichain allows users to create a will for beneficiaries without having to share their private keys.
What is Bequest Finance?
To create a will, users need to transfer assets (NFT, tokens) to the Bequest Finance platform and their heir information.
Heir information includes their name and wallet address. If the heir is not involved in the cryptocurrency market, Bequest Finance also supports Email addresses as an alternative to wallet addresses.
Bequest Finance uses Dead Man’s switch to distribute your tokens and NFTs to selected beneficiaries. Dead Man’s switch is a switch designed to activate or deactivate if the will expires.
The will is considered expired when the person writing the will does not extend his or her will. Bequest Finance will consider them “passed away” and the estate will begin the vesting process for the beneficiaries according to the schedule previously set by the will writer.
When the vesting process occurs, the heir can proceed to claim the assets to his wallet address.
